At last, I am a minority

According to this article I can finally relax. I am no longer the reason for all the woes of my fellow Americans who happen to be non-white. As a minority, I can now look forward to being coddled, patronized, pacified, and protected from the evils of discrimination by the majority.

I can be given incentives, grants, forgiveable loans, and can be protected by the ACLU from political incorrectness. I can be promised the moon by Liberals everywhere, and I can demand from them all the goods and services I want lest I threaten to vote for the "evil" republicans. I can be assured that my native language will be available to me in my childrens' schools and that it will be available to me on all manner of labels and packages; street signs and billboards, and that wherever I go, my whiteness must be finally accepted, not villified, as part of the big melting-pot called America.

I have found nirvana.

At the risk of being called a racist...

I must say up front that I am sick and tired of minority pandering. As a Texan, I am (for the near term) considered in the majority because of my gender(male) and my skin color(white). I pay taxes as a homeowner and to the Feds as an employee of a real company who pays me by regular check (not under the table). I am not on assistance. I am also a legitimate Citizen of the United States, complete with a Social Security number and a Passport issued by the US Government. Because of these tidbits of demographic information, the Government is not interested in me, nor are my Federal, State, and Local Political Heroes. You see, they aren't looking for my vote; they know SOME of them will get my vote because it is my duty as an American Citizen. And when I vote, I'll vote my conscience for what I HOPE they'll do in my stead at their little boys & girls club meetings they attend pretending to speak for me, because it is my responsibility as a fellow American.

Before us today is an article in the Dallas News that discusses an issue becoming more and more prevalent here in Texas, and across the country. Today, we are concerned that there are school campuses "where at least half of the students have been in limited English proficiency programs", and that the students on these campuses deserve, no have a right (financially supported by me: Joe-white-english- speaking-american-citizen) to School Principals being required "to learn the language spoken by the majority of students."

Am I missing something here, or have our political heroes lost their minds by having a willingness to fire highly trained, deeply qualified, richly experienced school Administrators unless they learn to speak the language of the non-English speaking students, who in many cases are here illegally? What are we doing to ourselves in this country today?

I am NOT anti-hispanic. Nor, am I against any other person of any other cultural background. I AM against de-Americanizing my self and my country in the name of cultural diversity and political correctness. I am ESPECIALLY against this new PC movement when it is for the benefit of people here llegally, and I am ADAMANTLY against this when it is solely driven by those trying to garner votes.

As an American, I vote because it is my right, my duty, and my obligation. I vote in hopes of finding that special someone that will truly represent ME, and stand for the things I believe in. The non-assimilated among us vote (again, illegally in many cases) for who will give them the most stuff. That is what we have bought by not voting out every Political Hero that ignores the illegal immigration problem; that is the price we continue to pay for not being proud, anymore, of our country and our leaders, and our people.
